Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the United States. Her best-known role is Skyler White on The AMC drama Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 for Outstanding supporting actress on a Drama Series. Apart from her role as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward and Jean Ward, she also appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. She fell in love performing at the age of Preparatory before moving to Ohio with her family in the early 1970s. She attended theatre classes at Northwestern University and spent a period studying at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for a few years, prior to trying out for film and TV roles. In 1992, Anna found her first big character in the role of Arden in the 29th episode from Down the Shore. The actress continued to make appearances as a guest star in a few TV shows and movies, such as Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue through the mid 1990's, when she was tapped in a regular role in The Practice as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. In 2008, she was cast as Skyler on Breaking Bad. Sully is the Deadwood film and other films have also featured her. Gunn also took to the stage to play in the David Swimer-directed version of Sex With Strangers. Gunn played a part in the podcast's four-part audio drama Numbered days, which premiered in 2022. Breaking Bad's story is often revolves around the love story between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their strained relationship. The relationship's strain and final conclusion of the relationship mirror the ending of Walter White's story.
