Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born in Dublin 1966 to a prosperous family. Doody is the third child in the family. She was educated at a convent and discovered a love of the arts. Later, she studied at The National College of Fine Arts of Dublin and then left the college because there was a lack of motivation. She thought she'd stop for a few days to get the hang of things. As time passed, she was having a drink with acquaintances in a caf , she was approached by a photographer who wanted to know if she would be interested to model. The model agreed because she would be able to take the money to pocket cash. Modeling proved to be both profitable and enjoyable, and quickly she was modeling professionally. The modeling contract she signed led to commercial jobs and eventually took her across the globe. After watching her performance and being urged to try modeling. In the age of 19, she was asked to go to London in which she was selected for an audition for A View to a Kill ( 1985), a new James Bond movie. Her love for acting was such that she pursued a career in this field. In the wake of her first feature, she shot a few TV dramas in London as well as in Dublin But her most memorable break came when she was given the role of Aryan seductress the Dr. Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
